If a statue in the park of a person on a horse has both front legs in the air, the person died in battle. If the horse has one front leg in the air the person died as a result of wounds received in battle. If the horse has all four legs on the ground, the person died of natural causes.

A. All invented by women.

In Shakespeare's time, mattresses were secured on bed frames by ropes. When you pulled on the ropes the mattress tightened, making the bed firmer to sleep on. Hence the phrase "goodnight, sleep tight".

It was the accepted practice in Babylon 4,000 years ago that for a month after the wedding, the bride's father would supply his son-in-law with all the mead he could drink. Mead is a honey beer and because their calendar was lunar based, this period was called the honey month or what we know today as the honeymoon.

note: R18! hahaha!
In ancient England a person could not have sex unless you had consent of the King (unless you were in the Royal Family!). When anyone wanted to have a baby, they got consent of the King, the King gave them a placard that they hung on their door while they were having sex. The placard had F...U...C...K... (with the other letters in!) Fornication Under Consent of the King" on it. Now you know where that came from.

ako'y nagbabalik! yipee!

yey! im back officially! haha. pasensya na at ngayon lang nakabalik, grabe kasi ang turn of events. haha. sige na nga, i'll make kwento na. mahabahabang kwentuhan to. haha. parang diary na din.. holyweek 2009.. :P

04.06.09

04.07.09

then after dinner, nag visita-altares kami. yung parang station of the cross. pero this time yung stations nakakalat sa buong downtown ng naga.

04.10.09

04.11.09
all set na para sa 2-day escapade. umalis kami at around 9, nag-early lunch na din kami para tipid. lol.

first stop namin, sa Basilica Minore, kung saan andun ang Our Lady of Peñafrancia, patron saint ng Bicol.

sa katapat ng church ay ang Sto. Niño Memorial kung saan andun ang puntod ni Lola Ba, ang aking greatgrandmother. namatay siya easter sunday of 2006, kea we always visit her kapag holyweek.

tanghaling tapat, we went to CWC, yung nafeature ko dati dito. this year di lang wakeboarding ang meron sila, they have this Lago del Ray resort kung saan pwede magswim, boating, watersliding and kung anek anek pa. madaming foreigner din ang nagkalat so pati yung entrance fee naka dollars na din.

we then went back to Naga, nag halo-halo muna kami sa Chowking at super-init. haha. plugging.

nag church hopping kami after. parang visita iglesias. pumunta kami ng 'hinulid', yung dinadayo ng mga devotees dito, then Quepayo Church.

as usual, gutom nanaman kami so nagstop-over muna para kumain sa Oyster Villa.

pinick-up lang namin yung baggages namin sa bahay ni lola then diretsyo na kami sa Surfers para sa swimming.

04.12.09

na miss ko kayo!! pahugs nga! :)

eio. holyweek na. paalam muna ako. silip mode nalang muna ako this week, ill be back on monday. actually nung last week pa aq mejo busy but this week, madaming family churva from both sides of the fence so magiging hectic ang sked ng artista. lol. ill be back on monday na. or on easter sunday kung keri ko na magpost. haha. haisk. am gonna miss y'all! parang ang tagal ng one week e. haha. basta. have a blessed holyweek y'all! mwahugs! when i get back, free chocos for all uli! ahaha.

for now, ill leave you with this story..missed chance.

A massive flood hit a small town near the Mississippi River. One levy in the river had broke, causing the flooding to occur while another levy was predicted to break in the hour.
A man who owned a house along the river stood on the roof of his house as water had engulfed the rest of it. Water levels were slowly rising. A rescue boat came to save the man from his house. The boat approached and the rescuers told the man another levy was about to break and the water would move over his house, sweeping him away to his drowning death. The man told the rescuers he did not need help because he believed in God and that God would save him. Twenty minutes later, the rescuers returned, trying to help the man escape. Once again, the man waved off the rescuers saying that God would save him. Ten minutes afterwards, the rescuers returned again, saying it would be the last time they could return because the levy was about to break. They asked him one last time to get on the rescue boat. He said once again that he believes in God and God would save him from the levy should it break. A few minutes after the rescuers left, the levy broke and the rushing waters engulfed the house, carrying away the man to his drowning death.
When the man reached the Heavens, he stood at the gates to enter. He told the men at the gates that he wanted to see God. When he saw God, he asked, "What happened? I thought you were going to save me? Why didn't you save me?" God replied, "I did try to save you. I sent the boat three times."
ayan. sometimes we really tend to expect things as we want it to be, pero God has His own way in answering our prayers, and madalas His answers are sent through other people. kagaya ng sa story, he failed to realize that the salvation from God that he was looking for was already sent for him thrice. :)

wah.. need to go already, aalis na kami in a few hours eh. hehe. haiz. ill miss y'all! mwahugs! tc everyone!

summer na! swimming time.

summer na! wohoo! vacation nanaman! well, this year may time pa ako para magvacation before my training so am excited.. tho wala pa kaming destination na pinag-uusapan naging annual tradition na ata sa family namin, the whole clan sa fatherside ko na mag bakasyon.. (dito lang naman sa mga local places). its nice to get-together with your family kasi mas nagiging stronger ang bond. and thats one thing that im proud of sa family ko.

anyway, i searched for the best places in bicol, kasi i believe so na before kami lumabas ng province para magvacation, its fair lang na buong bicol muna ang iexplore namin. so, tara, come and see what bicol can offer...
